Read section 7. STRIATE is a training-logging and information tool — not medical advice and not a medical device. Strength training carries inherent risk. You train at your own risk.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using STRIATE, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and STRIATE.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use STRIATE. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use STRIATE for your own personal, non-commercial training use, subject to these Terms and the applicable app-store terms (Google Play).

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us at [email protected] of any unauthorized use.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the training data and content you enter (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the App for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and for keeping your own backups where important to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App except as permitted by law; disrupt or attack the service or its infrastructure; access another user’s account or data; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

7. Health and fitness disclaimer

STRIATE is a training-logging and information tool, not a medical device or a source of medical, health, or professional fitness advice. Content in the App (including templates, exercise information, volume targets, and calculations such as estimated 1RM) is for general informational purposes only. Consult a qualified physician or health professional before beginning, changing, or continuing any exercise program. Strength training carries inherent risks of injury. You use the App and undertake any training entirely at your own risk, and you assume full responsibility for your health, safety, and training decisions. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your use of the App or from training activities you log or plan with it.

8. Service availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The App can log offline and sync later; sync depends on connectivity and our infrastructure providers.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STRIATE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STRIATE from claims and expenses arising out of your use of the App, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (You → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., 5–11) survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Mexico, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
